San Diego School Health Innovations Project (SHIP)

SHIP is a collaborative project between school, managed care health plans, and other health agencies. Its mission is to collaborate for the purposes of improving the health of students enrolled in managed health care plans without increasing the cost of health care, and improving the readiness of children to learn through better health. UCSD's Division of Pediatrics assists with development, data analysis, and project evaluation.
